As a therapist, I understand the bravery it takes to reach out for help. I strive to help you make connections on why your mind seeks resolution from the past, which can create present day challenges within relationships. Whether it’s children learning behavioral expectations and goals in relationships with their parent/guardian, adolescents trying to navigate relationships amongst their peers, or adults who feel they struggle finding and maintaining healthy relationships; this is where I come in.

My goal is to meet you where you are at and work alongside you.  I want to help guide you to identify and utilize your strengths and to help minimize symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger, and any other challenges related to your overall mental health. I strive to provide a space that you feel safe to explore why you are who you are and learn to let go of the past in order to discover who you want to be.

“The human condition is to struggle with worthiness, when it is actually every human’s birth right”.

I was born in San Antonio and raised here is Houston, TX. I went to Prairie View A&M where I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling. During graduate school and post-graduation, I have worked as a middle school counselor for 10 years. Being a school counselor is rewarding because when I work with a student and see their emotions of sadness, hurt, and pain turn into hope I feel I am sewing a seed into the next generation. I do private therapy on the side where I enjoy working with people of all ages, finding stability with their mental health and being able to not just survive, but thrive!

When I am away from work, you can find me spending time with my son and doing adventurous things around the Houston Area. For self-care, I enjoy getting facials, resorting old furniture, visual arts, and spending time in nature.
